Lyddington Village Fete will be taking place on Saturday the 14th of May 2022 between 1:30pm and 4:30pm.

The fete will offer delicious refreshments and entertainment for everyone, including a raffle, tombola, fun dog show and a static display of classic cars and motorcycles. A Lancaster flypast has been confirmed for 1:40pm, subject to cancellation.

Children will have plenty of fun and games to keep them busy, including circus skills! New for 2022, a circus performer will give children (and adults!) the chance to try tightrope walking, juggling and plate spinning, as well as showing off some magic.

There will be stalls selling plants, bric-a-brac, toys and books, and a tea tent offering homemade cakes and preserves. The ice cream stand is always a hit with the children, while the Pimms tent offers more grown-up refreshment. And when all the fun makes you really hungry, you can enjoy a classic burger from the BBQ.

Music from the Gretton Silver Band provides the perfect background to the cheerful atmosphere.

Entry to the fete is free for everyone, and all the money raised goes towards maintaining the historic church of St Andrew, the Village Hall, and other local projects.
