Explore some of Shakespeare's most famous comedies and the enduring appeal of his work in Rutland Adult Learning's new six-week course!

This course will be an introduction to the plays of William Shakespeare (1563-1616) in which you will read texts and theatrically explore his most famous comedies: The Comedy of Errors, The Taming of the Shrew, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Much Ado About Nothing, As You Like It and Twelfth Night. You will look at the theatre of Shakespeare's time, how his plays are produced and performed nowadays and explore the enduring appeal of his work.
