A teenage girl who went missing from Oakham train station on Tuesday has now been found safe.

Police launched a appeal for help in tracing 14-year-old Bronte Cope after she was missing for more than 48 hours.

She had been last seen at Oakham train station on Tuesday lunchtime, but was believed to have no phone or bag with her.

The appeal was shared by Nub News readers and across social media nationwide and this morning (Friday) it was confirmed that Bronte has been found and is safely with her family and police.
