Sausage Fest

Join the fun at Sausage Fest at The Plough in Greetham until 12 November 2023, celebrating the great British banger and this great British pub in the heart of Rutland.

Quiz Night at The Plough will also be taking place ahead of the weekend on Thursday 9 November. 

The event costs £1 per person to enter, max 6 person per team. 

Winning team get a round of drinks, and all teams go into a draw to crack the safe, so you don't even have to 'know it all' to be in with a chance to win big.

On top of this, the team is hosting a Remembrance Sunday fundraiser to support the Royal British Legion this weekend.

Thursday Night Dinner at The Fox and Hounds

The Fox and Hounds will be hosting their £12 Thursday special again on 9 November.

This week's dish is a hearty Shepard's pie, and you can enjoy a £3 Atlantic Pale Ale and other discounted drinks too.

Winter Wine Tasting

Ben and Emma Robson of Bat and Bottle Wine Merchants are delighted to invite you to our Bat and Bottle Oakham Winter Wine Tasting on Friday 10 November.

The evening will take place from 6.45pm-9.30pm in The Victoria Hall, 39 High Street, Oakham, LE15 6AH.

Tickets are £20 on the door or £15 for advance tickets online.

Christmas Gift and Craft Fair

On Sunday 12 November, join the team at the Wisteria Hotel for a Christmas Craft and Gift Fair, organised by Oakham and Rutland Events. 

The event will go on from 11am until 4pm and feature local crafters, sellers, makers and creators.

Inflatable Swim Session

Oakham School have launched a brand new inflatable session, set to take place every Sunday from 2.50pm until 3.45pm for £6 per person.

Children of any age can attend, as long as they can swim a length, and children aged seven or under must be accompanied by an adult.
