This Saturday, 18 March, will see the final few games of the 2023 Six Nations tournament hit screens across the nation, and we are here to help you find the perfect spot to catch the action.

The Rugby Six Nations started on 4 February 2023, and has seen locals across Rutland flock to local pubs and venues to watch the games, both celebrations and commiserations continuing long after some games had finished.

This is not only great for local pubs and vendors, but shows once again the enthusiasm of an Oakham crowd - who this week celebrated Oakham School's 1st XV win at the Schools' Cup Final at Twickenham this week.

The Guinness Six Nations Rugby Championships, featuring England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales, was founded in 1882 and is is an annual international men's rugby union competition beloved by players, fans, and Guinness drinkers alike.

Much to the delight of many Rutland-based fans, the squad is jam-packed with Leicester Tigers players, including Ollie Chessum, Dan Cole, Joe Heyes, Dan Kelly, Freddie Steward, Ben Youngs and Jack van Poortvliet.

While many England games have not been easy to watch for rugby fans, supporters have turned out in their masses locally to support the game - one that is particularly popular in the local area, in part due to the presence of Oakham Rugby Football Club, based at Rutland Showground.
