Oakham in Bloom is holding an Environment Day on Saturday 13th August in the Catmose Arboretum from 1pm to 4 pm.

This is an event open to all Primary School age children accompanied by a responsible adult. 

Activities include creating bug homes, an anti-litter posters competition, bark and leaf rubbing and walks through the arboretum.

Visitors can also listen to the history of Catmose House.

Admission is free. Voluntary donations will be collected in aid of the Oakham Daffodil Trail. 

To be opened at 1pm by a 6 year old pupil and introduced by Dr Andrew Lucas.
