Oakham Pride Picnic will take place on 27 July from 12:30 - 4pm.

An alternative to the usual Oakham Pride event hosted by the group, the picnic invites the local LGBTQ+ community and allies to come together for an informal picnic at Cutts Close.

The team said: "Sadly we can't afford to splurge out this year, we need to raise funds so we thought maybe we could all gather together at Cutts Close informally dressed in bright colours and sparkles, Bring something to eat and drink, bring your flags and let our community and supporters gather together for a lovely picnic while waving our flags high! Bring your acoustic instruments if you have any and we can all have a low key jam. Our very own fantastic Hannah Rack will be there to lead the way."
