Our final Chapel concert of the year is a celebration of orchestral and choral music at the School. The Symphony Orchestra's repertoire will embrace a popular Mendelssohn concert overture and symphonic music by Dvoák, and they will accompany two top Form 7 Music Scholars in solo works by Hummel and Mendelssohn. The Chamber Choir will contrast a transcription of a famous orchestral work by Ravel with movements from Alec Roth's star-infused set of partsongs. Our summer musical celebration concludes with popular film music by John Williams from his much-loved score for Jurassic Park. Join us for a musical tour de force, rounding off a fantastic year of orchestral and choral performances.
