Rutland car lovers will be staging their second car and coffee meet on Mill Street in Oakham next month.
The move follows a successful event last year, with hopes of the meet becoming a monthly attraction.
Chris Gunby of Creme Hair and Beauty told Nub News: "The idea came about after lock down number one when a few Mill Street traders got together to create Mill Street Traders Association to promote Mill Street and the businesses on it.
"We now have over thirty traders onboard and great communication with lots of ideas and plans ahead, with one of those being a car meet."
Chris says members hope that in 2022 they will be able to hold car and coffee events on the first Sunday of every month to attract people into Mill Street.
That should enable a few of the shops to open and benefit from the extra foot fall.
The first meet in September 2020 attracted over 40 cars from a 1920's Bentley to a brand new Ferrari with everything else in the middle.
Chris added: "It was a great success, so we decided to do one more this year with it being on the same day as the Oakham food festival [Sunday October 10, 10am to 12 noon.]
"Hopefully everyone will benefit and Oakham will see a busy Sunday morning."
