The Clinical Commissioning Group has confirmed that Rutland will have a new Vaccination Centre from next month.

MP Alicia Kearns announced the news on her Facebook Page, which says the centre will be open from October 6.

Mrs Kearns continued: "The new site will be at Oakham Enterprise Park (OEP) at Ashwell Road, Oakham.

"The CCG is contacting patients who are due their second doses, and need to be booked into OEP.

"Anyone who is eligible for a booster jab will be contacted directly to arrange an appointment.

"The CCG is also looking at performing vaccinations in community pharmacies."

The MP added: "Anyone who is concerned that their second dose is overdue should contact the Central Booking Line on 0116 497 5700."
