The new football season is just around the corner and Oakham United's schedule of pre-season fixtures begins on Saturday (6 July).

The club's first match is at home against Holwell Sports of United Counties League Division One to Lands' End Meadow, kick-off 1pm.

Holwell Sports were also pre-season guests before the start of the 2018/19 season, when Oakham United ran out 1-0 winners in a close encounter.

This is followed with another home fixture on 13 July when Oakham will play Peterborough Northern Star of the United Counties League Premier Division, kick-off 2pm.

The two games will see Oakham United testing themselves against higher league opposition as PNS and Holwell Sports play at Step 5 and Step 6 of the non-league pyramid respectively.

A trio of home pre-season games will be completed on Wednesday 17 July when Stamford Belvedere of the Peterborough and District League Division One are the visitors for an evening match, kick off 7.30pm.
