Join the Open Water Swim out to the tower in Rutland water on Thursday 20 July 2023.

This is a non competitive midweek open water swim adventure.

The course is 1km to the tower and 1km back. You have two hours to swim and may complete multiple passes of the course.

The swim starts at 6:30pm.

Please be aware that this course is extremely exposed. This event is very weather dependant so please ensure that you're happy with the cancellation policy before entering. On a calm day you'll cruise to the tower no problem.

On a rougher day you may turn back at any point on the course. The creek area (first 400m) is generally calm and sheltered and the course will ordinarily become choppier the further you go towards the tower. By all means please swim to where you feel comfortable and experience true open water.
