It's now 96 days since the planning application to build Rutland's first McDonald's fast-food restaurant in Oakham was submitted to Rutland County Council.

And today (Weds), the local authority told Oakham Nub News that it is currently 'unable to confirm' when the application will be determined - but it will not be at the next planning committee meeting on 24 September. The next scheduled meeting is on 22 October.

'Moving Rutland Forward' (MRF) is the county's fourth Local Transport Plan and sets out a long-term vision that will support the development of new council-led, resident-focused transport policies around road safety, bus travel, driving, cycling and walking.
